Physical Therapy · Carpentersville, IL
You’ve been working around it: the shorter walks, the careful mornings, the Advil in the glovebox. Here you get a cause-first evaluation, one-on-one with a licensed therapist. And a plan with an endpoint.

No self-awarded trophies here. Just the score our patients gave us, and the training behind the hands treating you.

Our clinical director is certified in vestibular and concussion rehabilitation by the American Balance Institute. If the room spins, you do not have to drive to Chicago for it.
Accredited by the Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy. Getting stronger at seventy is a different job than getting stronger at thirty, and it needs someone trained for it.
What We Treat
Point to where it hurts. We’ll show you how we fix it.
The crick that will not clear, the ache that creeps into your shoulder blade by mid-afternoon.
Learn MoreReaching for a seatbelt should not make you wince. Most shoulders improve without surgery.
Learn MoreWhen gripping a coffee cup or turning a key starts to hurt, the cause is often further up the arm.
Learn MoreThe twinge that decides whether today is a good day. It is fixable, and it starts with finding the cause.
Learn MoreYour hips and knees are the largest joints in your body, and it is common for them to hurt together.
Learn MoreEvery step goes through your foot, so a small problem down here changes how your whole body moves.

In IL, you can start PT without seeing your physician first. We handle the paperwork if your insurance needs it.

Instead of the typical pattern of a therapist trying to juggle multiple people during a session, Sharon gives personalized one-on-one care for the entire appointment.

Questions, Answered
The questions people actually ask us on the phone, answered straight.
No. In Illinois you can be evaluated and treated without a referral or a script from a physician, so you can call us today and be seen without waiting on an appointment with someone else first. If your particular insurance plan needs a referral for reimbursement, we will spot that when we check your benefits and help you sort it out.
We listen first. You tell us the whole story, then we watch how you actually move and test until we can name what is driving the pain rather than guessing at it. You leave that visit knowing what is wrong, roughly how long it takes to fix, and what happens next. It runs about an hour.
Visits run 30 to 60 minutes depending on what we are doing. Most patients see a significant reduction in pain within six visits. A full plan runs through all four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform and Prevent, and you will always know which phase you are in and what is left. That is what we mean by a plan with an endpoint.
Yes. Every visit is one-on-one with a licensed therapist, and it is the same person who evaluated you. You will not be handed to an aide, and you will not be sharing your session with two other patients while somebody moves between you. That is the whole reason this practice works the way it does.
We currently accept Medicare Part B, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois PPO, United Healthcare, Workers Compensation, and cash pay. Coverage varies by plan even within the same carrier, so the honest answer is that we check your specific benefits before your first visit and tell you the number. If you are not covered, ask us about self-pay.
Loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and shoes you can walk in. Bring anything you already have about the problem: imaging, notes from your doctor, a list of what you have tried. If you have none of that, that is fine. Nothing about the evaluation depends on paperwork.
Usually because the last place treated where it hurt instead of what was causing it, and because you were sharing a therapist with other people. Here the evaluation comes first and it is looking for the cause. Then it is one-on-one, hands-on, every visit, with a plan that has an end date. If we are not the right answer for you, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
