Testing to find which ear and which canal.
For vertigo, dizziness and post-concussion balance. Our clinical director is AIB certified in vestibular and concussion rehab.
What It Is
Vestibular rehabilitation treats vertigo, dizziness, imbalance and the falls that come with them. It uses head maneuvers and a progressive exercise program, and it works because the brain can learn to compensate for an inner ear that is misreporting.
Our clinical director is certified in vestibular and concussion rehabilitation by the American Balance Institute. That matters here, because the first job is identifying which ear and which canal is involved. Getting that wrong means doing the right maneuver in the wrong place.
Conditions we treat include BPPV, vestibular neuritis and labyrinthitis, unilateral vestibular hypofunction, vestibular migraine, PPPD, cervicogenic dizziness, post-concussion syndrome, and dizziness that has crept in with age or inactivity.

What It Helps
If the room spins, you feel off balance or dizziness has crept in, retraining how your brain reads your inner ear is what settles it.
What A Session Looks Like

Testing to find which ear and which canal.

Why It Works
Positional vertigo often settles in a handful of visits.
Certified training, not a generic balance handout.
You do not have to drive to Chicago for it.
Steady enough to stop bracing on the railing.

Questions, Answered
Yes. You do not need a label before your first visit. Vertigo, lightheadedness, nausea, and neck tightness are all symptoms we test and treat directly. If your testing points at something outside our scope, we will tell you and help you get to the right person.
For benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, often quickly, because the treatment is a specific maneuver rather than a course of strengthening. Other vestibular conditions take a progressive program. Either way you get a plan with an endpoint, and you will know which phase you are in.
Some dizziness during treatment is expected, because the point is to give your brain the signals it needs to recalibrate. That is very different from being left to cope alone. It happens one-on-one with a licensed therapist, at a dose we control, and we stop and adjust when you need it.
