Weeks 1–2
Pain
Calm the pain down.
Hands-on work and a starting dose of movement pitched low enough that it does not provoke a flare. We start where you actually are.
What We Treat
Pain that has outstayed the injury needs a different approach than a fresh strain does. It is fixable, and it starts with a cause-first evaluation, not a guess.

Why It Happens
Pain that has been around for months behaves differently from a fresh strain. The original tissue problem may have settled while the system that reports pain stayed sensitive, and around that has grown months of moving less, guarding more, and losing strength. All of it is real, and all of it is treatable.
Our clinical director works specifically with chronic musculoskeletal pain, often in people who have been leaning on medication like Advil to get through the day. The goal is to find what is still driving it and give you a way to manage it that does not depend entirely on a tablet.
The Honest Truth
Nobody regrets starting too early. Plenty of people here wish they had started sooner.
How We Fix It
Every plan has an endpoint. Here is what the four phases look like when pain has been around a long time.
Weeks 1–2
Pain
Hands-on work and a starting dose of movement pitched low enough that it does not provoke a flare. We start where you actually are.
Weeks 2–6
Prime
Restoring motion and confidence in the movements you have been avoiding, in an order and at a dose we control.
Weeks 6–10
Perform
Progressive strengthening to win back the capacity that months of guarding took, which is what makes good weeks more common.
Weeks 10+
Prevent
You leave with a plan for the bad days as well as the good ones, so a flare is a setback and not a return to square one.
Over the weeks she has provided care for a severe case of plantar fasciitis in my left foot. Totally gone! And for a severe back issue. I am 84 years old and Sharon has proven that any age can be helped by a master physical therapist.

Questions, Answered
No. Long-standing pain behaves differently from a fresh strain and it needs a different approach, but it responds. Our clinical director works specifically with chronic musculoskeletal pain, often in people who have been leaning on medication like Advil to get through the day.
It is the single most common thing we hear, and it is usually said by someone who never went looking for the cause. Getting told to live with it is not a diagnosis. Come and get an actual evaluation before you accept it.
Most patients see a significant reduction in pain within six visits. A full plan for chronic pain runs through all four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform and Prevent, and you will always know which phase you are in and what is left. That is a plan with an endpoint, not an open-ended string of appointments.
