From electronics engineering to practice IT

I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, where a fascination with how things work turned into a degree in electronics engineering. I studied at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), then spent years in the tech industry working on electronics chip development and software engineering for major companies.

Keeping the infrastructure running

At Maxicare, IT infrastructure is my focus: the systems that keep the practice’s technology working the way it should, quietly, in the background, so the clinical team can stay focused on patients.

My core value is adaptability and resilience, learning from setbacks and adjusting to whatever changes without losing sight of what matters. I keep a simple line in mind: “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

Outside of work

When I’m not working, I’m usually on a basketball court, cooking something, or traveling with my family. Top Gun and Bourne Identity are the kind of movies I will always stop to watch.
