From Davao to the front office

I grew up in Davao, Philippines, and spent time in the Army before settling into work I love: keeping the business side of a practice running so patients do not have to think about it. That time in uniform taught me discipline and adaptability, and I still use both every day.

Claims, credentialing, and your insurance questions

At Maxicare I manage claims and credentialing and handle billing for the office. If you have a question about what your insurance covers or how a claim is moving, I am the person working on it behind the scenes.

My core values are adaptability, balance, and patience, useful traits when insurance paperwork does not cooperate. I try to stay positive about it: “Optimism is a happiness magnet. If you stay positive, good things and good people will be drawn to you.”

Why I stick around

The part I enjoy most is watching patients get better and walk out pain-free. Outside of work, I spend my time with bonsai trees and fishing.
